FreeTaxUSA uses a QR code so that a person doesn't have to scan/camera document with the device (computer) that they're using for the website/form, it can quickly easily link to a phone camera via QR code. Please explain to me why I'm paying more money yet PriorTax fails to have basic obvious features like camera scan of a W-2? The only reason I didn't cancel this transaction with PriorTax and use something else is that the other option has its own incompetent bits (confusing explanation of IP PIN and/or ability to actually e-file). Pick your poison.
PriorTax site/service also fails to show instant/pending STATE and federal expected owe or refund. It wasn't clear whether it was calculating my State info. I've used FreeTaxUSA and they clearly visibly competently put both the federal expectation/calculation AND the STATE one, as soon as I had entered enough info for it to be estimated and calculated.
Now let's courteously respectfully and productively contemplate how it is that managers and "leaders" at a company are earning paychecks for supposedly "ensuring" quality services while failing to actually do that.Par a Daniel M from NYle 2026-04-04 23:35:24
